BRAZUCA GROOVES

Brazuca” is a friendly, non-offensive way brazilians use to adress themselves. This variation is much more commonly heard abroad, accompanied by a positive attitude. It has therefore some light degree of patriotism.

Plural would be “Brazucas“.

The pronounciation would be something like “Brah-zoo-kah

Brazuca Grooves is Limao’s weekend party at Guanabara.

We’re talking about the most proper Brazilian of all weekend nights at Guanabara.

Next one is this Saturday – 17-01, and its something not to be missed.

It is usual to get Limao’s gigs at Guanabara on every Monday, Wednesday or at one of the many Guanabara’s events he’s part, but next Saturday…

Next Saturday you can expect a really special, party booster set, heavy on Latin House, Drum n’Bass, Baile Funk, and many other ‘Brazuca’ Grooves to pump the dance floor. It’s an even, specially designed material that just the lucky crowd that fulfill Guanabara every “Brazuca Night”can enjoy.

The night starts early with Basil percussion show at 8pm and Natally Drag Queen show at 9pm

Live on stage, this time we managed to bring the irrepressible Eri Okan with the sounds of Bahian Roots culture and carnival vibes here in London. Eri Okan means ‘conscience’ and the group plays inspirational grooves with lyrics dealing with profound themes. With songs in Portuguese, Yoruba, Pidgin and English, Eri Okan performs with 10 members… singing, dancing and drumming linking Bahia, Jamaica, Nigeria and London.

As there’s a lot going on, we suggest you get there EARLY – on this freezing winter that London has been blessing us, we don’t want you to stay queued around Covent Garden during the time you could be relaxing and warming up with the perfect Caipirinha in your hands and throat.

To help you out, this blog is giving two free tickets (VIP, no queue, no fee) to the first reader of this post, who send an e-mail to info@djlimao.com with the names to guest list.

Rush on, and keep checking djlimao.com regularly for more of these gifts.

See you all there.
