     Limao+Sagatiba+Berlin

         (die ganze Nacht hindurch)*

In my two last events with Sagatiba in Germany, Berlin people definitely showed me what they’re here for.

The first was August 9th, Sagatiba Summer Sundaze, at Tubestation – a shinny brand new venue, at FriedrichStraße, so properly called a “Design Bar Club”

Design cause it’s interior is just unbelievable. The architecture project is clearly based on a tube station, but you certainly wouldn’t feel that cosy at a real one. Bar cause it’s wide range of spirits and cocktails will surely drown all your sorrows, and club cause it counts with a nice and well-equipped dance-floor.

At the sunset people started coming over, most of them from I.B.A. – World Cocktail Competition - that has just happened town. Basically – people who knows how to drink well, being served by a team of star bartenders leaded by not less than Jonh Gakuru and Sven Rehse, Global and German brand ambassadors for Sagatiba. The result couldn’t be better – the chilled sunset turned into a mayhem as the night came. People from over the world partied hard fueled by Sagatiba till 4am.

It was just a Sunday…

As Monday it was when I got back 5th October to play at the Sagatiba Wintersundaze at Reingold Bar,

another chic, upmarket bar in Mitte, a district unrecognizable from its grey East Berlin days. With an impressively long bar, specialized in cocktail, that leads to a really comfy lounge filled with leather couches The place’s atmosphere is just as good as it’s gets.

Nice people from different countries, many of them coming from a Mixology Congress, packed the bar and Sagatiba’s masters along with Reingold’s crew had a seriously tough time but managed to absolutely satisfy that thirsty happy crowd.

I finished the set at 5am, full house. Sure that for the next gig over there I need to book my next day’s return flight for later on in the afternoon, as 3pm happened to be incredibly early for that kinda Berlin night.

The first four pictures of this post, at Tubestation, were taken by Ralph Oechel.

The last four pictures of this post, at Reingold Bar, were taken by Damir Masic.

I’ll like to say thanks for this two amazing photographers for these an many others amazing pictures.

Wicked job. To see more of their art, click in their names.

And special thanks for these two Gentlemen pictured by my side above. Sven from German, and Jonh from the globe.
