| Other Info | Star vocalist Leandra Varanda has built a superb reputation in the UK touring and recording with choro/samba group Caratinga (“a genuine vocal talent” – VortexJazz). Her magnetic stage presence and captivating voice are already well known to audiences at Guanabara through her regular performances with resident band Capital Do Samba. In this brand new show, Leandra brings together a team of top Brazilian and British musicians to showcase her own songwriting talents alongside some classic Brazilian tunes (bossas, MPB, samba and forró) all combined with rock, funk and jazz and making an irresistible blend of rhythms.
