| Other Info | Choro is Brazilian jazz, many people say. It could be true if Brazil’s chorinho hadn’t appeared before on the scene. Probably the first true Brazilian genre originated in Rio de Janeiro in the 19th century, Chorinho (literally “little tears”) is a blend of different sounds using various types of guitars, flute and percussion. An instrumental, sweet and moody chamber music style that is popular and sophisticated at the same time.
